SberCity, intertower space

Relatively recently, in 2021, the BashGroup company participated in the implementation of a large-scale, complex and very interesting project for the inter-tower space of the Sberbank headquarters in Moscow.

According to the original project of 2006 by architect Sergei Kiselev, the atrium was conceived to be slightly smaller. But in 2016, when the building became the property of Sberbank, this unfinished part of the complex was adjusted and significantly changed by the Swiss architectural bureau Evolution Design and the Moscow company T+T Architects.
As a result, restaurants, co-working spaces, and a large multimedia zone operate in the public space. Here our company implemented 2 products, which I will tell you about in more detail.

Our first product, AstInvent Angul+, is load-bearing columns for the inter-tower space. Due to their architecture, they are inclined and installed at an angle relative to the horizon. And it was the implementation of the angle of inclination that posed a difficult task for us: the joints of the columns must be strong and not attract attention to themselves.
For us, the development of such a solution was innovative; it turned out to be interesting and effective.
There were also some nuances in the implementation process, a large amount of waste in terms of raw materials. But the result was worth all the effort we put in.

The second product sold at this facility is AstWand Geh+ wall panels, anodized in champagne color. Working with these panels also had a number of features.
Firstly, some of the panels have radial shapes in accordance with the load-bearing walls of the space.
Secondly, some of the seams between the panels are filled with LED lights. We were required to design the correct shapes of the recess for mounting the lamps in such a way that later, during installation, the line of light would look continuous.
All panels have a special soundproofing membrane, just like the suspension system itself — it was covered with soundproofing mastic.

The customer was satisfied with our implementation.
And for me, working on this project is not only satisfaction from quality work done, but also important design experience in selling existing products to meet a specific request.
